Regional Nurse Consultant – Medical Products

Position Summary:

Provide in-depth understanding of clinical environments and product knowledge to the sales, design, marketing and R&D organization, dealer network and customers.

Educate internal and external customers in order to expand the market for existing clinical products and ensure appropriate product applications.

Primary Functions:

• Delivering presentations to hospitals, dealers, clinical groups, customers, etc.
• 50-60% travel, most of the focus is in NYC and surrounding areas.  Area is Virginia to Maine.
• Works with R&D on the development of new products/enhancements, modifications of existing products
• Serves as the clinical knowledge expert - important to have personal development plan to keep up-to date with education, trends, CEUs, etc.
• Lend their clinical ethicicy to the sales process
• Consult on marketing materials

Required:

• Registered nurse (RN) required                                                                                                                                                                         
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required                                                                                                                                                                  
• Leadership experience in the hospital
• Ideal experience: as Clinical Director, involved in Medical Surgical Services, Managed multiple Nurse Managers and served as key member of Chief Nursing Officer’s Team  
• Prefer someone in the NY/NJ area, must live within 1 hours of a major airport
• Prefer experience in ICU, CCU, Cardiac Critical Care Unit, ER                   
• Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, including making presentations to groups of professionals                                                                              
• Computer competency with proficiency in MS Office suite
