CLINICAL EDUCATION SPECIALIST

Rapidly growing Medical Device Company is currently searching for a Clinical Education Specialist to cover the state of Missouri.  We are looking for an RN with clinical education experience and preferably medical device experience.

This is an excellent opportunity with new technology that will greatly improve patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provider of clinical support and expertise to health care facilities in the form of education and expert consultation. To introduce and facilitate broad adoption using company products throughout the institution.  To provide clinical expertise to Corporate in the form of clinical consultation and participation in development of sales, education, and marketing projects. 

Work with Regional Sales Manager to initiate, establish and maintain contacts, education and working relationships in existing accounts

·         Improve sales within existing accounts by assuring clinician competence

·         Provide education and reference materials to nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers in the form of technical, theoretical, and clinical application of company products

·         Provide clinical support follow-up in existing accounts

·         Develop new opportunities within existing accounts

·         Follow-up on qualified leads obtained at professional trade shows

·         Facilitate clinical evaluations of company products

·         Participate in training of new field staff

·         Manage software upgrades within the assigned territory

·         Provide onsite support and problem solving to accounts

·         Develop educational tools/materials in conjunction with Marketing Director for use by customers

·        Maintain awareness of medical and scientific literature to maintain expertise of current issues relevant to specific patient populations, pathology, hemodynamic monitoring, and fluid optimization

·        Attend Company meetings / professional conferences / tradeshows as may be required from time to time.

Desired Training and Experience Required:

·                     Must be a RN with direct clinical and education experience.

·                     Educator experience required, preferably in medical device.

·                     Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and group presentations). Direct experience in customer interactions.

·                     30 percent travel required.
