Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for breaking into IDN/IHN accounts at a grass roots level selling breakthrough technology that is right in line with the industries needs. We require candidates that understand:
- Conceptual Selling
- Strategic Selling
- Quality issues within the hospitals
- Selling off cost avoidance
- How to break into accounts without a GPO hunting license.
This is NOT a traditional National Accounts/GPO position. This company already has a successful national accounts group and needs a different type of candidate that can pioneer and evangelize a whole new strategy for quality within the hospital. Successful candidates will know how to convince hospitals that they need to spend money to save money, which is much different than convincing them to spend money to generate money.
This is a very strategic sales process and requires a high powered business professional who has the experience and approach to secure the top10 IHN’s in the next 12-18 months.
